Sales Manager in Training – (salary negotiable to suit experience)
WallCann marketing and digital media solutions Company is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager in Training to join our expanding business team. Phase 1 of training is the role as Sales person - electronic goods and appliances marketing. Phase 2 of training is to assist develop sales of WallCann’s ecommerce business packages for business to consumer and business to business.
This role is ideal for the candidate with sales and customer service experience with appliances and electronic goods or health and mobility aids. Good general PC and internet skills are important.
Position will be full time or adjusted to 4 days per week to cater for individual completing a tertiary studies.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Meeting sales targets
- Customer service enquiries
- Researching sales products and opportunities
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Working with the development team matching product opportunities to customer
- Honesty and integrity
- Contributing to the growth and development WallCann
You will be in charge of the Retail/Shop front sales and the warehouse. Initial focus will be picking and arranging stock dispatch taken from online and phone customer orders. Experience with direct customer sales and service, email management, taking orders over the phone, and using accounting software like MYOB will be an asset.
Packing orders ready for dispatch. This will involve packing orders, booking consignments, booking couriers, sending via Auspost or TNT. Accuracy is therefore critical and care must be taken when handling the stock. Previous warehouse experience will be beneficial. The most important criteria will be your commitment and your keenness to learn and to help others.
Maintaining and tracking advertising in various media. Training will be provided but experience with platforms like eBay, Trading Post and online shopping sites also an advantage.
Stock control - maintaining stock levels, warehousing and stocktake.
Desirable Experience/Knowledge:
- Retail customer sales and service experience
- Warehouse experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work with customer service enquiries with a good phone manner
- Good general PC Skills with a good understanding of Email, Word and Excel and internet applications
- Willingness to learn and enthusiasm
Highly regarded skills but not essential:
- A good understanding of general electronics
- Passion for Electronics
- Understanding of 12VDC electrical systems. i.e. Cars, car audio, solar systems
- Experience in the mobility aids equipment health industry
